Hey Paula, You need to seriously consider a career in writing about humorous daily living. You have that Erma Bombeck flavor to your postings. I am serious...think about it! Here is a site dedicated to Erma: http://www.ermamuseum.org Lisa
Good Morning World! What a great day for Eskimos. Here in Raleigh, NC it is chilly. I don't have it as bad as my sister in Iowa as she has all that snow. But when you are used to North Carolina beach weather this takes some getting used to. I used to live in Wilmington where snow days where headline events. When I lived in the Midwest it was not such a big deal. Now I remember why I chose the South to live! That was on the "pro" side of my list of reasons to move to NC. I do not miss the roads covered with ice to the point you have to walk on the grass to stay afoot. Crunch, crunch, crunch my shoes would go. And when you got to town you had to find things to hold on to to make it across sidewalks and streets. Needless to say one of the reasons I kept a well stocked cupboard and freezer. We could live on soup and did some Winters. In fact one winter in particular I ate so much soup I did not gain any winter weight! In my other life I used to can alot and when we had bumper crops I canned so much we could literally live off the land. Nothing tastes as good as a pot of chili with home canned tomatos. Well now that I have made you hungry I guess I will go cook breakfast. Have a super great day and don't freeze! Hot cocoa time. Lisa

Thanks for the story. I was a clown at one time in my history many moons ago. Promise - I was a nice one :-) Coulrophobia refers to an abnormal and persistent fear of clowns. (credit to: http://psychology.about.com/cs/glossaries/g/Coulrophobia.htm ) I read the REAL Grimms Fairy Tales as a child...and acted them out. Today that would be the Dark Side of the Moon...woooooooooooooo Lisa
